YOU are responsible to ASK for the sign-in sheet for ANY of these events.

No sign in = no credit.

There is a maximum number of points. Not everyone can go to everything!

Planetarium Shows will begin for students on Sat., 2/11/1

Planetarium Pass is NOT good on: (Watch here for special days the Museum is closed for special events)

Additional Information:
You must go though the main office and present your free admission ticket.
The Main Office is NOT where you sign in.
Allow 15 minutes before the show.

Ask the planetarium lecturer for the sign in sheet after the planetarium show.

You will get 1 of the 25 points when I get the answers to the required review questions.
The remaining points when I get the sign-in list at the end of the semester.

For out of town Planeraria (Griffith Park in LA does NOT count unless you go with us - see above) .
You MUST bring proof - a signed ticket or a signed program and do the questions above.

It must be clear viewing or no points!

Other LOCAL Telescope Observations do NOT count (like Natural History Museum's Star Party or Westmont's).

Tutors begin on Week 2 of the semester.

Double Points for the first 2 weeks (2 visits/week) - through 2/10 (after the first visit called Checkpoint E).

Five points each time you go - (max. of 10 points per week = 2 times per week for credit)
You will be signing in at the Gateway Building, ECC 33 AND signing in with the Astronomy Tutor.
Make sure the Tutor signs you in!!
You will get your points at the end of the semester!

Begins at 7 PM sharp.
YOU MUST WATCH THE 'LIVE' BROADCAST ON THE THURSDAY (yes, only Thursday) IT IS FIRST PRESENTED!
The playing of the rebroadcasts will NOT count - BUT I would suggest you at least begin to watch an old one BEFORE you try to see it on the evening of the broadcast!!

You MUST have "Real Player" installed. Check at an old date to see if you can receive and play the broadcast. Be sure to select the FREE "RealPlayer 8 Basic - is our free player."
