Perspectives on Astronomy by Seeds & Backman

New = about $90 at CC Bookstore (Amazon much less)
Used = about $67 at CC Bookstore
E-Book = about $50 at CC Bookstore
Rental = about half of new at CC Bookstore

You MUST also buy the Lecture Kit Card from the Cashier as you check out of the Bookstore upstairs.

How to use your textbook:

1. Look at the required reading for the week. See the 'Schedule' for your class name.

2. Look at the 'Study Guide' (not finished yet by the Publisher)

3. Read the information leisurely - do NOT have a highlighter in your hand!

4. Go to lecture and take good notes or outline the information.

5. Try the Cornell Note Taking Method - It has made the difference between a 'D/F' and and 'A/B' with many students!

6. Read the difficult portions again.
