Hi and WELCOME to Earth 101.

This set of directions to going to all my classes. Some classes are fully online, some are half online, while others are face-to-face classes.

The directions for starting the Earth 101 classes are all the same:

1. Your course is in Pipeline. Go to the top of the browser page you are using and choose 'File' & then 'New Page'. That way you can see these directions and get to your classwork at the same time using the two open pages. Go to SBCC Pipeline by entering:

https://pipeline.sbcc.edu/cp/home/displaylogin

and clicking on 'Pipeline' on the left edge. Logon to Pipeline

2. Choose 'Courses' and then you need to choose : 'Log Into Moodle'
on the right edge. Here you will create a personal page. You must do a couple of things that are required and then you MAY also choose to include your pic or any fun image that you feel IS you!!

3. You will now be at a page that lists all your classes by their CRN numbers. Finally, choose your Astronomy class from here (do NOT choose to do your assignments for this class from this page.) Instead, you want to ALWAYS see a page that looks something like this:

4. There are very important links (that will remain week after week) near the top of the page (just under the black area).

5. Further down the page, you will find the weekly dates for the entire semester. Here you will be able to get to all your assignments weekly.

HINT: If you just need your SYLLABUS (for reading assignments or videos or tutors or whatever, here is a shortcut so that you will NOT have to get into Pipeline/Moodle each time you need a piece of informnation. Go to:

astroprof.com

and select my name for your section by clicking on the correct yellow star (look below for the CRN's for your course.)
